September 2013 Mentor selection process and preparation of the selected mentors.

October 2013 Teacher-mentor project meeting in Brno (Czech Republic):
- Presentation of the project participants on the basis of the prepared school presentations
- Development and specifications of the rolling system for the mentors and panel discussions
- Creation of the English protocols to the experiments for the laboratory workshop in Pforzheim: Detection of genetically modified food and Genetic fingerprinting in forensics
Until February 2014 Task assignment / Homework:
- Translation of the protocols from English into the national languages and uploading them to the Internet platform
- Preparation of the mentors and students for the laboratory workshop in Pforzheim
February 2014 Teacher-student meeting in Pforzheim (Germany):
- Conduction of the laboratory workshop led by the student mentors to evaluate the experiments: Diagnosis of genetic modification in food by PCR and Creation of a genetic fingerprint by RFLP
- Evaluation and optimization of the teaching modules
Untill May 2014 Task assignment / Homework: Implementation of the action-oriented modules in the classroom at the home schools.

- Report on the implementations at the home schools
- Completion of the first two teaching modules as project results
- Development of the English protocols for the laboratory workshop in Vienna: Proof of Erwinia infection in potatoes, Diagnosis of neurological disease NCL by PCR
